This example was written by hand to show the format — there’s no real photo or customer behind it. Your read is built from your own photos and what you tell us. In this example, the person said they were worried about blackheads, bumps on their forehead and marks after pimples.
FacialStack checks what you told us against your photos — it doesn’t just agree.

“I keep getting bumps on my forehead and marks after pimples”
Seen in your photos
From the photo, FacialStack sees small skin-coloured bumps on the forehead (medium confidence). Small bumps are easy to miss or over-read in a photo, especially with side lighting.
“Blackheads”
Seen in your photos
From the photo, FacialStack sees blackhead-like congestion on the nose (high confidence). A photo alone can’t reliably tell blackheads from sebaceous filaments.
Your priorities
What to focus on first
Ordered by how noticeable each one looks, how sure the read is, and what you said matters to you.
1
Priority 1
Active blemishes · forehead and chin
Calming new breakouts comes first: marks can’t fade while new ones keep forming.
Flash and bright light exaggerate shine; time of day matters too.
MildHigh confidence
Blackhead-like congestion · nose
What we noticed
Dark dots in the pores on the nose — these may be blackheads or sebaceous filaments.
Why it matters
Dark dots in the pores, usually on the nose and chin. Some are blackheads; many are sebaceous filaments, which are a normal part of skin and refill over time.
What may contribute
Oil and dead skin collecting in pores
Naturally larger pores in the T-zone
What generally helps
Salicylic acid a few nights a week
Gentle cleansing — scrubbing and pore strips tend to irritate
Small bumps are easy to miss or over-read in a photo, especially with side lighting.
Small bumps can have several causes, and a photo can’t tell them apart. If they itch, spread or don’t respond to a gentle routine, it’s worth having them looked at.
MildMedium confidence
Dark marks after blemishes · cheeks
What we noticed
A few flat brown marks on the cheeks where blemishes look to have healed.
Why it matters
These marks can remain after a blemish has healed and may fade gradually over time. They’re more common, and last longer, in deeper skin tones.

Free habits that help
Hands off — don’t pick or squeezePicking is one of the main reasons marks and scars stay behind.
Keep hair products off your foreheadHair oils and styling products are a common contributor to bumps along the forehead and hairline.
Fresh pillowcase twice a weekOil and product build up on the fabric your face rests on all night.
Lukewarm water, twice a day at mostOver-washing and hot water strip skin, which can leave it drier, redder and sometimes shinier.
Trying something new? Test it on a small area for a few days first. If anything stings, burns or itches for more than a few minutes, stop using it.
What to expect
Realistic expectations
Most skincare changes take several weeks of consistent use before you can fairly judge them.
Breakout routines usually need several weeks of consistent use before you can fairly judge them, and some ups and downs are normal.
Pores can look clearer with regular use, but sebaceous filaments always come back — that’s normal, not failure.
Dark marks usually fade slowly, often over several months. Daily sunscreen matters more than any single product.
Skin has good and bad weeks. Judge the trend, not one day — and rescan in similar light.
If your skin gets worse, becomes painful, or nothing has improved after a couple of months, talk to a GP, pharmacist or dermatologist.
Why confidence varies
A photo is a snapshot, not an examination. These all affect what a visual analysis can see:
Lighting. Warm, dim or side light can add or hide redness, texture and shadows.
Camera quality. Phone sharpening and beauty modes smooth or exaggerate detail.
Makeup and filters. Anything on the skin can hide what’s underneath.
Angle and distance. Some areas are only partly visible from one angle.
Skin tone. Redness and marks show differently on different skin tones, and cameras don’t capture every tone equally well.
Image compression. Compressed photos lose fine detail like small bumps and pores.
That’s why every concern shows a confidence level. High means clearly visible; low means it might be there, and it’s worth rescanning in daylight before acting on it.
FacialStack gives skincare guidance based on what’s visible in photos. It doesn’t diagnose skin conditions and isn’t a substitute for a doctor, dermatologist or pharmacist.
