1. Agreement
By using FacialStack you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. You must be 18 or over
FacialStack is for adults. By using it you confirm you are at least 18. We block accounts we believe belong to under-18s.
3. What FacialStack is — and is not
FacialStack analyses three photos of your face and suggests a skincare and grooming routine built from inexpensive, widely available products.
It is not medical care. FacialStack does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for a doctor, dermatologist, pharmacist or dentist.
- Always consult a qualified professional about a health concern.
- Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something in the app.
- If the app suggests seeing a professional, please do. That prompt is a flag, not a diagnosis, and its absence is not an all-clear.
- If you think you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service.
What the analysis is worth. It is generated by an AI model from photographs. It can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent. Lighting, camera quality and angle all affect it. Treat it as a starting point, not a verdict.
Scores. Scores describe areas — skin clarity, grooming, and so on — from 0 to 100. They are only ever compared to your own earlier scans. FacialStack does not rate attractiveness and does not compare you to anyone else.
4. Products and links
Product suggestions are chosen by our own code from a curated list, based on the concern tags from your analysis and the budget you set. The AI does not choose products.
- We do not make, sell, ship or warrant any product.
- Prices, availability and formulations change, and shown prices may be out of date or missing.
- Buying is a transaction between you and the retailer, on their terms.
- Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes what we recommend or what you pay. Where this applies, we say so in the app.
Before you use any product: read its label, follow its directions, and patch-test. Stop immediately and seek advice if you have a reaction. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about anything you are already using, especially prescription treatments, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Retinoids, exfoliating acids and benzoyl peroxide can irritate skin and increase sun sensitivity — use sunscreen daily.
5. Your account
Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information — a routine built on wrong answers will be wrong. One account per person.
6. Your photos
You keep ownership of your photos. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them solely to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. That licence ends when you delete them.
You confirm the photos are of you, and that you are not uploading photos of anyone else.
7. Subscriptions and payment
FacialStack offers a weekly plan and an annual plan. On the website there is no free trial: you pay when you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Free accounts get one scan. Paid accounts get up to two scans per rolling seven days.
- We may change prices with notice; changes never affect the period you have already paid for.
In the app. Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store and are governed by their terms. You are charged at the end of any free trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Cancel in your Google Play or App Store account settings — deleting your FacialStack account does not cancel an app subscription. Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their policies.
On the website. Purchases are processed by Stripe. You are charged when you subscribe, then at the start of each new period. Cancel any time in Settings › Manage billing; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting your account (in the app, or by emailing us) also cancels your website subscription. For a refund on a website purchase, email us — this doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law.
8. Acceptable use
Do not: upload photos of anyone else, or of anything other than a face; upload unlawful or offensive content; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service; resell or redistribute the analysis; or use the app to harass or make judgements about other people.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms.
9. Our content
The app, its design, its copy and its product-selection logic belong to us and are protected by intellectual property law. Your analysis and routine are yours to use personally.
10. Availability
We aim to keep FacialStack running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund for any unused paid period.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, FacialStack is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for any skin reaction or other harm arising from products you choose to buy and use, or for decisions you make based on the analysis. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including, in Australia, the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, and in the UK/EU your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts there have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use FacialStack after that means you accept them.
